Where is the Hof Maiezyt guesthouse located?

Hof Maiezyt is located about 2 km outside the village of Habkern, above Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland. The accommodation is set in a natural, peaceful environment with wide views of the surrounding mountains and plenty of distance from everyday life.

Who is the guesthouse particularly suitable for?

The guesthouse is suitable for families, groups of friends, clubs, school classes as well as for couples looking for a quiet break in the mountains and who appreciate an old, historic and cosy wooden house. Depending on the accommodation, stays are possible for both small and larger groups.

What types of accommodation are available?

Hof Maiezyt consists, on the one hand, of a very large farmhouse which, in one part of the building, offers the spacious group apartment Allegra for 15 to 19 people as well as a small, romantic holiday apartment for two people. Both accommodations have separate, private entrances on opposite sides of the house. In addition, both units have their own outdoor seating areas on the south and north sides of the building, providing ample space and privacy for each group.

Hof Maiezyt also includes the Schwendihütte group house, located on the opposite side of the road, accommodating up to 25 people. The Schwendihütte also offers two outdoor seating areas on the south and north sides, reserved exclusively for the group house and equipped with a barbecue area.

Each accommodation is individually furnished.

How do I get there and is parking available?

Travelling by car is recommended, as the accommodation is located about 2 km outside the village and the nearest bus stop. Parking spaces are available directly at the guesthouse. The road from Habkern is a normally drivable, paved road, although it is rather narrow. However, it is well maintained in winter and regularly cleared of snow.

Are families with children welcome?

Yes, families are very welcome at Hof Maiezyt. The natural surroundings, outdoor areas and quiet location offer plenty of space for shared experiences and relaxation.
